The Fields Point Review is the newest branch of Fields Point Pictures, an award-winning independent entertainment group based in Houston, Texas.
Founded in 2005 by Dan Fields, Chris Robinson, and Ryan Lunde for the production of the short film Blood Point, Fields Point soon began writing comic sketches drawn from the childhood antics of its members. One long cold winter, these sketches began to take life as animated cartoons that have delighted, enraged, and bewildered hosts of unsuspecting online citizens.
In 2010, Fields Point Pictures won a Silver Remi Award from the 43rd Annual Worldfest-Houston International Film Festval for the two-part science-farce Rocketland: In The Beginning. After an extended creative hiatus, Fields Point is back in the animation game and eager to reach new heights with the new Fields Point Review, a blog devoted to film reviews and critical essays on a range of media topics. We hope our old fans will like our new tricks, and that untold legions of new fans will come forward to read, argue, and generally pass the time well.
Best wishes from the Point!
